I know there is a NOKIA IP350 firewall in between and that is the only possible reason to block my port scans.
Get rid of any smtp proxy that the nokia installs between your mailserver and the real world - ditto with (for example) cisco pix, raptor, checkpoint etc smtp proxies.
But then my question is how does that firewall knows that I am doing a port scan and not a normal telnet to port 25 of my mails server? And is there anyway to put my nmap port scans through ??
A few braindead ways.
