Hi On my RH9 machine i use a Multitech card with 8 modems. The Dial-in server ip addrss is 192.168.0.5. The interfaces are ppp0,ppp1 ... ppp7. The remote IPs range from 192.168.0.6 till 192.168.0.13.
I am able to access pass data from any remote user to the server (192.168.0.5) and vice versa. Now I want to exchange between two users who are connected simultaneously. ie if the remote machines 192.168.0.6 and 192.168.0.7 are connected ,i need to ping from one of the machine to the other. default route is being set automatically by mgetty for each connection. Is there a need for a further route command? Or should i set the gateway for the remote machines to that of the server ?
