Did you rebuild mailertable.db after adding the mailertable.
Is sendmail looking for the mailertable at the same location where you
updated it?
# grep mailertable /etc/sendmail.cf
Then - if all that fails - please post a fuller debug log.
The previous one did show smtp:[ip.add.re.ss] - and that's where it
should go. How / where are you getting MX lookups being done? Are
you handing off mail to a smarthost that then does mx lookups?
