I am geting these erors in /var/log/messages. I was not doing anything
extraordinary at the moment. I had the following programs running for
the last almost two hours: Openoffice writer, 5 konsoles, jpilot, xmms,
konqueror, bookmark editor, gkrellm.
I have 256 mb ram, Athlon 855 on a Via mobo, 40G Samsung hdd.

as an aside, I keep getting ide-scsi errors saying : the scsi wants to
send us more data than expected: discarding data. This occurs while
using cdrdao.
what could be the problem ?
