Using serial port this time,

[Dialer Defaults]
Modem = /dev/ttyS0
Baud = 115200
Init1 = ATE0Q0V1X1W1%A2=5
ISDN = 1
; Stupid Mode = 1
Phone = 27157111
Username = [EMAIL PROTECTED]
Password = x

Try enabling the "Stupid mode". My guess here is that the remote peer is sending some string which is confusing wvdial into believing that it should use a terminal session instead of PAP/CHAP secrets.

What do I type in minicom window after ATDT27157111 ?

Press enter :) What I wanted to see is whether you are indeed getting a terminal session which you need to log into manually.
