How can i identify the motherboard make under Linux? Is there any file like /proc/cpuinfo for getting CPU info....
I'm not aware of how to identify the motherboard make, but you might get a hint/clue about the motherboard make by identifying the host bridge controller chipset on it.
You can run '/sbin/lspci' to get this information.
