Good point! [ I kind of considered that as a leet feature :-P ]

In an ideal world, a single linux distro should cater to every possible user (from a 
newbie, to a highly experienced power-user). But in practice, its simply not possible. 
What Redhat/Debian (and most other distros) are trying to do is trying to achieve the 
impossible balance.

True. A seasoned Linux sysadmin would not completely depend on distro-specific config 
tools, but "When in doubt, read the source" kind :-)
