Oops! No Issues in stating that this no win98 group. Its understood, Otherwise I dont need to be here at all. As I said my intention was to understand that this nothing to do with grub in any sorts and wanted to know that all those good people who one way or other came across troubles with dual booting landed in a similar problem. I have a way by which grub can aid in win98 reinstallation without affecting the grub in mbr. Thats my final resource. I really appreciate all the kind response to my query. Thanx a heap for that. By the way my win98 can wait as i use it for AOE :)
