You you you. It is always about you and your problems, isn't it? ;-)
1. Did you upgrade any other packages while installing ecos?
2. Try running /usr/bin/gtk-theme-switch2 (part of gtk-theme-switch
package). Click on the '+' to the right of the pull down list listing
gtk themes. You will see a 'Use Font' field. Click the 'Browse' button
and select a font, style and size that appeals to you. Click 'Apply'
