Hello Everybody, I am sorry for posting this message here. I would like to interact off-list with people who are willing to help me in this work.
I want to build an infrastructure for providing contents to mobile users. By content I mean things like ring tone, screen saver, wall paper etc. The scenario is that mobile users will send SMS to a particular number with some code that will uniquely define the content they need. Once that message reaches my system, the requested content will be delivered to the mobile number that generated the request. I think that I have to have some arrangement with the mobile service providers so that the SMS reaches my system. But I don't know how the rest of the work is done. I was trying to find the information using GOOGLE but my lack of basic concepts in the subjects is preventing me from finding appropriate result. Kindly help me in this regard. What do I need to have? A mobile gateway? What are the products? I am open to both commercial products and Open Source products. Please give me some pointer.
