Hi Ratnakar,

you might not have changed root after linux rescue...

the procedure is as follows...

1) boot into linux rescue (your FC4 filesystem is mounted at /mnt/sysimage)
2) chroot to this mount directory (by using #chroot /mnt/sysimage,
where # is the prompt)
3) use grub-install /dev/sda
