Hi, Does anyone have any idea on how to setup a dual head display on IBM thinkpad R50e?
At any point of time I can only get a display on either my Dell 15" LCD or the laptop internal display and that depends on the Fn + F4 combination. Although the monitor is connected (X server logs indicate that the monitor is detected correctly) but since the default display is internal one, the X server logs says monitor not active and I gets a display on the internal screen. If I use Fn+F4 to switch the display on to external monitor, I get a display there, If now I restart X the X logs indicate the that the internal LCD screen is inactive (but present).
