Sorry Giridhar... but "ifconfig -a" works fine with newer linux... in
RedHat 5.1 (kernel version 2.0.34) it doesnt show the interface that
are not up. (i.e if I do "ifconfig eth0 down", then "ifconfig -a" it
doesnt show eth0 in the list).
