Hello , I have bought new Toshiba Satellite M100 with t2300 processor dual core 1.66. Please tell me which is the best linux distribution for my LapTop.
I have tried installing 1.Ubuntu 5.10 Live cd but error reads out that not able to install X Server. 2. I have tried installing debian 386 but faced installation error. 3. tried Mandriva 2006 live cd but it stuck at init5 stage. 4. I have successfuly installed ubuntu4.10 but it is only working in console mode and for gui mode error reads that X Server cannot be installed. Please help me out.
