Dear LIH, I am using Debian Sarge, and am just trying out text input methods in Indian languages for some fun.
With the tamil-gtk2im package, I am able to input Tamil into all GTK applications, including Firefox and Thunderbird flawlessly. In this method, the key double shift (pressing both Shift keys together) toggles between the English keyboard and Tamil keyboard. I'd like to know whether a similar simple method for text entry in Hindi exists. Thanks.
