Hello Sanjay,

        U dont have a GUI front end for configuring ur printer in Debian like
in RHL. Every thing is done from the command line. U need to install the
magicfilter package from the /text directory and run
'magicfilterconfig'.  Then select dj500 from the list of available
filters. I cant verify whether dj500 is the appropriate filter for ur
printer so hack around till u find the right one.

        Also, if ur looking for a GUI based spooler, install printool which is
TK based.
