I think there is a typing mistake.
The second hard disk should be recognised as hdb and its partitions as
hdb1, hdb2, ... in case od IDE.

The 2nd HDD will be recognised as hda2 if IDE or sda2 if SCSI. create
partitions in it. Redhat kernel has to be installed below 1028
cylinder.
So / partition should start below this partition.
