Sorry Archan, I removed my NTFS partition as i was running out of disk space.
Interesting thing to note is that with my RH 6.0 (kernel 2.2.5) I could use
NTFS in "read only" mode but after I upgraded to RH6.1 (& kernel 2.2.14) I kept
on getting the error at bootup "ntfs fs not supported by kernel" inspite of
repeatedly compiling it for NTFS read/write support. Presently i don't intend
to go back to NTFS but if I do I'll post the results here.

Interesting thought - I am not quite sure how to acheive the configuration that
u r describing- comments from any one?
