Hi,

I'm unable to mount a directory on a Linux Box from a Solaris
server -

When i execute the following command as root on the Solaris
server :

mount -F nfs 165.133.13.69:/songs /home/mp3/songs

I receive the following messages :

nfs mount: 165.133.13.69:/songs server not responding : RPC: Timed out
nfs mount: retrying: /home/mp3/songs
nfs mount: 165.133.13.69:: RPC: Timed out

I've checked the Linux box (165.133.13.69) - mountd, nfsd and portmapper
all are running. Also /etc/exports lists the following line

/songs (ro,insecure,all_squash)

What could be the problem ? Any ideas anyone out there ?

Regards,
Srivats
