Hey guys,
  I need help fast. When I do arp -a on my machine this is the output .

--------------------------------------------
Address                 HWtype  HWaddress           Flags
Mask            Iface
192.168.10.2            ether   00:80:48:DD:7E:D9   C
*               eth0
202.54.85.50            ether   00:90:27:73:BB:E5   C
*               eth0:0
192.168.1.2             ether   00:90:27:73:BB:E5   C
*               eth0
-------------------------------------------

If you observer 192.168.1.2 and 202.54.85.50 are the same Nic cards.
One is eth and the other one is eth0:0. But some times my machine
refuses all external connection i.e http, ftp, telnet etc.
at that time when I try arp -a I get the following output

-----------------------------------------
Address                 HWtype  HWaddress           Flags
Mask            Iface
192.168.10.2                ether   00:80:48:DD:7E:D9   C
*               eth0
202.54.85.50                ether   00:80:48:D6:34:AD   C
*               eth0:0
192.168.1.2                  ether   00:90:27:73:BB:E5   C
*               eth0
------------------------------------------

As you can see the HW address of eth0:0 has been changed. How could
this happen. both eth0 and eth0:0 are running on the same nic card.
There are no IP addr clashes on the network. This problem
comes and goes very often. I just cant figure out the problem.
any suggestions on what the hell is going on. Btw the server is a .linux

box.
thanks  in advance
