i m new to the world of Linux programming. I have been programming in
Windows for the last one year and this is my first foray into the linux
environment. I wanted to know if there are some good books on this topic.
Specifically I am looking at how to make the 'makefile' and how to do X
programming on Linux.
Till now all my experience on Linux has been limited to the user
applications, and some games ( xboing ).
