0.0.0.0 is a loopback address. If you have a network card installed in your
system, the IP numbers assigned to this, and the IPs of the same network is
Internal IPs. IPs of the other networks are External IPs like ips of VSNL
or ISPs. ,,that I mean in my mail.
Check whether your /etc/resolv.conf has the nameserver entry.
search *
nameserver your_isp_nameserver
Check the route after connecting to ISP. It must have a default entry for
ppp0.
otherwise run the command after connected.
route add default gw your_alloted_IP
your_allotted_IP can be found by running the command 'ifconfig ppp0'.
