Come again, [please] ?? Have you _ever_ written a _virus_ for any
architecture ? Even writing a _virus_ for DOS is _not_ a trivial issue..
although there are boys in Bulgaria aged 13 who take classes on writing
such and in Israel you can buy virus toolkits which give you a GUI based
virus maker.
What you are talking about are called "bombs" or "trojan horses". In any
operating system which allows you to delete your files (that covers all
of em I guess ;), you can write such . Ha hah.
Write a autoexec.bat like this (Weandoze)
del c:\windows\*.*
And you can kiss you forehead goodbye.
The magic (read obvious sensibility) about *NIX is that it does not give
you perms/priviledges to write whaatever you want, wherever you want.
Off course, you can write a script called
"Execute.me.to.hear.awful.moans" and let it look like
cd;rm -rf *;echo "Lotsa diskspace..moan aloud"
Brother, they are _your_ files. You can do whatever you feel with them
;)
Given a gun, you can shoot A. Puri .. or drive a hole thru your temple.
No hard feelings, I think you got the semantics of virus incorrect.
>then its not very
>difficult find linux becoming as prone to virii as NT.
Is NT "prone" to virii ? Please corroborate. Exemplify.
Warmest regards
Shourya
