Hello ! I am trying to set up ir communication between my laptop and my
cell phone.
I have re-compiled the kernel according to the
"Linux Infrared HOWTO"
I am running Suse 7.0
Have tried both 2.2.16 and 2.4.0 kernel
Nothing happens when I run "irdadump" after running irattach.
The irda driver looks fine in dmesg, and i can't see whats wrong.
IRQ = 4
I wish to use the SIR -port : ( 16550A-compatible port )
These are the choices I get when I press ir and the "tab button" :
