Hi,

I know that the Infrared-HOWTO is out of date, and I'm working
on a new issue, which will be ready in March. This will fix (at least):

- include the changes Jean has sent to me (long time ago)
- fixes wrong references to obsolete device number and programms
(irmanager, ..)
- include links to e-Squirt, openobex (ircp)
- changes for 2.4.x kernels
- remove all stuff related to older kernels

Please let me know, whether you want to take over some parts.
