Linux IRQ sharing problems... A well known kernel problem, worse in recent
versions of the kernel.

Exactly the SAME error messages I had in the past with my DELL notebook.
Read: Windows handle irq sharing way better than Linux. In fact, if you try
Windows IrDA on your Toshiba on IrDA port Com2, I bet it work more than
Ok...
Maybe someone have to report this to kernel list again (not me, I have
nothing to do with 1,000 messages per day lists :-))))))
