To add to the weirdness. If I load the required modules and then go
into minicom and open /dev/irnine and activate IrDA on the phone,
sometimes it works but not always. Once I exit minicom and reopen it ,
it doesn't work.
Am I doing anything wrong to cause this?
The other thing is that I had no problem running getty on /dev/irnine
and connecting to it with hyperterm in M$ Windows from another notebook.
And in Windows, it doesn't matter what order I open the terminal program
and activate IrDA on the phone.
