I have had a Motorola L708+ (L Series plus) for some time. But more
recentally I puchased a second hand Toshiba Portege 3010C.

I went to the Hardware page at:
http://irda.sourceforge.net/hardware.html

And I say my notebook and something that is either my actual phone or
very simular (L7089). But when I click on those links I get an error
404.

I am just wondering if anyone can tell me if they've had any luck with
connnecting their Motorola L series phone to Linux in anyway? What I'd
like to do is sync my phone book with an SQL database and if the phone
supports it, I'd like to get an internet connection through it.

Any pointers or anything would be appriecated. I haven't had any luck
yet with just playing around. If it helps I'm using Debian GNU/Linux
'unstable' and kernel 2.2.18 (but on the verge of upgrading to 2.4.x).

Thanks,
