I am trying to sync my Palm with my T20's built in IR device.
Bios settings:
Serial Port A: 0x2F8 irq 3
Serial Port B: 0x3F8 irq 4 (IRDa device)
Apparently I have a chip supported by the nsc-ircc driver
I was told the serial driver must be loaded after the irda modules... I
run debian 2.2 potato and I think the serial driver is loaded via the
init scripts which I am not familiar enough with to hack.
I have gotten irdump to respond when I press the hot sync on my palm,
but I don't know how to read it.
I read irattach and it mentions an irobex module which I can't find
anywhere (not in my 2.2.18 tree or the 2.4.2 tree).
What do I need to do in order to sync my Palm IIIxe on the ir port?
Which device (ircomm0, ircomm1, ircommnew0, ttyS?) will I tell
pilot-sync to use? Which modules do I need (irda, irport, ircomm,
ircomm-tty, irtty, nsc-ircc) some of them seem to be redundant.
Thanks for any help you can offer.
