Before, using a borrowed ESI JetEye dongle and Motorola Timeport I was able to connect to internet with GPRS just fine.
Now that I had to return the JetEye, I bought a Tekram dongle, but immediately after receiving CONNECT, I now get disconnected and see "IrLap, no activity on link". Turning on some debugging I see some messages about crc errors in something_state() function (sorry, can't get the exact error messages right now). Any idea what could have caused this? Looking at the esi.c and tekram.c I see they're not very complex. Could it simply be that tekram doesn't like motorola? Or maybe I need to change some settings? The AT commands seem to work just fine, and also when dialing to a normal telephone number it rings so it can communicate at least somehow to the phone. The same happens with both Linux 2.4.9 and 2.4.10. _______________________________________________ Linux-IrDA mailing list - [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://www.pasta.cs.UiT.No/mailman/listinfo/linux-irda
