Hi Everybody! I have a theory about why IrDA does not work on some notebooks with the Maestro3 sound chip. However, I'd need some data to see whether this theory might be true or not before asking the Maestro3 maintainers to change their code. Could everyone with a notebook with a Maestro3 chipset run this command: "setpci -d 125d:1998 0x58" (probably as root) and let me know its value, notebook model and whether IrDA works concurrently with sound or not.
Please reply directly to me, not to the list. Thank you very much! Bye & Good Luck! Pablo B. _______________________________________________ Linux-IrDA mailing list - [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://www.pasta.cs.UiT.No/mailman/listinfo/linux-irda
