yes, when it work it work!!! I used to connect via IrDA port to my 7110 and
to internet using the Kde PPP dial over the SIR port.

But now I changed the laptop and everything stopped working and I try to
make it work again...

It's always painful make IrDA working over Linux, there are lots of issues,
but when u do it, it work pretty ok...

Prepare yourself to spend lots of time over it and probably no one would
help. The level of the discussions in this group seems to much high level
for people like us.. :-)))))

I have both of thse - redhat & a 7110, and am about to install linux on by
