IT WORKS, but I don't know why!?! jpilot and pilot-xfer is perfect. kpilot is 
also ok.

What I've encountered using irdadump is that the palm tries to use irobex but
switches to ircomm as soon as he discovers the palm. (It didn't work twice 
today. Then I just reloaded the kernel irda modules)

That means that I don't need irobex support in the kernel although I've been 
reading this in howto's. Has a irobex kernel module ever existed?? I doubt that!

Another question: can a palm do more than SIR 115200bps, something like fast 
infrared??
