Yes the secret is to install the DDK for IrDA on win95 which is actually the
Version 3 stack used in 98, then stuff seems to work ok until you do something
stupid like run word or suspend or do some work. I haven't used windows in a
long time but lots of people use my irda printer servers in my house from 
their laptops so I guess it goes... (Don't try NT!) Linux isn't painfull
it's just a matter of either going with the leeding edge or working out what
versions of what people used when then current stable version was the leeding
edge.
