My wife has another Satellite running Win98 (a 4070 CDT). I already tried once
to hook them up. I read the howto and indeed the win 98 machine was
seeing the linux one, but no way to do a file transfer at all. I guess
I'm too dumb for win95 :)

I would actually be interested in hooking up the two machines, and
I can make some measurements. Is there any place where I can get some
step-by-step instruction on how to do it? (i.e. what layer, what
protocol, etc.)

Thanks again for all the good work
