[Alvin] Yes, the device is FIR capable.

[Alvin] Yes, there is a USB IrDA Bridge Device spec at Rev 0.9B. Its
being adopted as a USB class spec. You can find it at
http://www.usb.org/developers/devclass.html , look under 0.9 Class
Specification header.
