Irmanager is not used for the 2.3.x code! There is also a high probability
that the latest (2.3.x) IrDA code will make it into 2.2.15, and then it
will not use irmanager either (only irattach).
If you could find a way that irattach could be used for controlling FIR
drivers as well as irtty.c, then that would be great. We need a tool that
could configure, load and unload _any_ IrDA driver. It would be great if
you could look at this issue.
