Hi Dag, hi Jean, hi All,
sorry for interfering into your trouble, but from my point of
view I'm quite interested in having both of you continuing
your work with the Linux/IrDA Project.
>From my point of view I can understand both opinions:
- Jean was embarrassed about the compile errors of Dags last
patch, and the missing patches of him
- Dag has much work and trouble to get all the loose ends (patches, ..)
together in time, was probably embarrassed about the harsh
tone of Jeans mail
My suggestion is: Please let us look together (I mean all members
of this list!) how we can get the release process more efficient. I
guess this is not only a technical questions (like using CVS). I guess
also, that the project needs more help with this work, for instance
a separate patch or CVS maintainer.
with hopefull regards
-werner-
