Completely non-IrDA related subject, but does anyone know why uit.no
keeps probing my dialup connection ?

Packet log: ppp-in DENY ppp0 PROTO=1 129.242.4.254:8 212.126.150.253:0 L=1500
S=0x00 I=34698 F=0x4000 T=235 (#23)

                                     ^^^^^^^^^^^^^
$ nslookup 129.242.5.254
Server:  localhost
Address:  127.0.0.1
Name:    lozen.Uit.No
Address:  129.242.5.254

This started soon after I joined the IrDA list in September 99 and happens
several times a day (I'm only on line for a few minutes a day).

I did mail the sysadmin who denied any knowledge of this happening and
asked if I can prove it is not 'address spoofing'. I can't, but its
strange it happened immediately after I joined the list and happens
daily regardless of the dynamic IP address I have been allocated.

Anyone else noticed this and should I care anyway ?

Regards
