I'm also in Australia, and our Uni Voice Communications peopls are also
talking about the L708.

I expect to get one later today and will report on the nomenclature and
performance.

Incidently the reason I'm trying a Motorola after a long string of Ericssons
is that my I-888 shows numerous faults, especially with data calls. Actually
I should say I888s, as I am on number 3. I cannot get to talk to anyone
with technical expertise in Ericsson Australia (maybe there aren't any?),
so I'm still in the dark as to whether there is a problem with Australian
stock or generic faults in the phone design.
