No, actually I'm in Dallas, Texas, USA.

I'm sure that irda is working.  I see messages go out from the laptop, just nothing
from the phone.  And I *think* that irdaping works, but it's hard for me to tell.
If I ping 0xffffffff, I get a response, but it might be from my own machine.
If I put another(windows) laptop next to it, they can detect one another.  If I also
add in the phone, then the Linux laptop can see the phone's packets.  I suspect,
though, that the other laptop is somehow routing the packets to it.  When I do see
the phone packets, they say IrComm and OBEX.
I'm using an IBM Thinkpad 600E with an i82365 ir chipset, SuSE 6.4, Linux 2.2.14.
I've attached the module and process output, as well as irdadump and irdaping.
