Hello

I am using the new test6 patch

An irtty to irtty connection with ppp running over it works fine.

An irport to irtty connection gives problems on the irport side.

The irtty side simply gives one message:

   IrLAP, no activity on link!

But the syslog on the irport side scrolls lots of messages:

   NETDEV WATCHDOG: irda0: transmit timed out
   irda0: transmit timed out

repeated over and over, with the message

   irlap_state_ndm(), media busy!

sprinkled in.

In the irdadump, things look like they are negotiating normally, until
pppd gives a

   LCP: timeout sending Config-Requests

error, and then the irtty side just repeats this until dropping back into
discovery:

17:04:49.009031 rr:cmd > ca=58 pf=1 nr=1 (2)

and the irport side keeps showing

17:06:00.044629 rr:cmd < ca=58 pf=1 nr=1 (2)
17:06:00.004783 i:rsp  > ca=58 pf=1 nr=2 ns=1 LM slsap=17 dlsap=18 TTP
credits=2 (51)

Any suggestions? I'd liek to get irport working because it is used for
the SIR part of the FIR driver I am writing.

Thanks,

Vince
