Hi IrDA Experts,

now I have been reading and testing so much and didn't manage to get gnokii
connected to my nokia cell phone 6110 :(

My setup:
 * Toshiba Satellite 320CDT (latest BIOS (v8.xx))
 * Nokia Cell Phone 6110 (has _no_ built-in modem (as compared to 7110 or
8110))
 --
 * Debian 2.2
 * Kernel 2.2.17pre6-1
 * "driver/net/irda/toshoboe.c" says "Version 0.1"
 * gnokii 0.3.2 [linux replacement for Nokia Data Suite (sms, phonebook,
(even data calls), ...)

1st the good news: irdadump finds the nokia ("") but I couldn't never ever
get a connection to this (mean) phone.
7110 and Psion 5 works fine - so I can exclude hardware problems.
But I have red somewhere that gnokii supports only SIR! Maybe there is the
problem? Is toshoboe (or the hardware) able to do SIR or FIR only. I did not
understand all of the c-source ...

Does is help to upgrade to "toshoboe.c" ver. 2.12? Which kernel-source do I
have to use with it?
