The proposed patch just adds eject support, so it's possible it could 
still go in.  I am pretty sure the sysfs patch would get the "never in 
a 1e6 years" response (though certainly anyone who wants to try can 
submit it).

*shrug*  My problem with the approach is if it adds a dependency to
libkarma, how does lk find the daemon?  Sounds like an awful lot of
policy for a library, and I'm not crazy about having another install
target.  Do we really need the karma_helper stuff in libkarma proper?
I think it is fine and useful as-is.
