The signedness finding is valid. The test previously compared the signed ssize_t result from read() with the unsigned sizeof() result before checking for errors. V2 checks n < 0 first, then compares the nonnegative length with sizeof(struct inotify_event). I also exercised the read-error path with fault injection.
