This is more humurous than informative.
I was playing with trying to get my blasted PCMCIA 3com 575 to work on my
Inspiron 3000 without getting "Interrupt posted but not delivered ...". So
I was loading and unloading the i82365 module with various irq_list
parameters when my machine locked up.
So Alt-SysRQ didn't produce squat, I hit the power button. Nope. That's
not working either (its a /soft/ button, I believe).
So here I sit wondering what to do now. I guess I'll have to yank the
battery out ...... or wait for it to discharge :) But I don't think I've
ever been in quite this situation before ...
