You're not limited to 2.5" disks.  Just about any SCSI disk will work.
I have a 3.5" half-height 4 GB disk in its own case that I use with my
Adaptec SlimSCSI.  It's a SCSI Type III, so it's overkill for this
controller, but works fine with the proper cable.
