I think the reason he asked about 2.5" was size, e.g. to keep the bulk down.

The best thing might be a removable media drive, e.g. syquest or iomega. I
think m$ tends to have probs keeping those straight, though.

As far as what will work, hey it's scsi, it should all work :). I use a
micropolis raid5 tower without any probs :).

I do, however, see scsi tape probs, but I get those on both desktop boxes as
well, so I doubt it's a pcmcia prob.
