This works, but if you want to remap keys when you not running
X, modify the file that's mentioned in /etc/sysconfig/keyboard.
On my RH 4.2 system, that file is /usr/lib/kbd/keytables/us.map.

Is this something new? My 510CDT and every other Toshiba I've
seen from that vintage had the control key in the wrong place.
