I have not yet found a workaround. On the laptop I described W95 was
installed first, with Slackware allotted ~200Mb on the drive. If I start
with Linux, booted from a floppy, exit properly and give the three finger
W95 won't load. I can't remember the stupid message on the screen but it
is one of the usual blue-screen abominations. If I find a solution I'll
